Spaniel X- rescued from hoarding situation in Lucerne, CA
Approximately 8-9 years old
Very shy with new people- will not bite but just basically shuts down- definitely has not had any socialization
spayed/vaccinated/microchipped
Been in foster with 6 other dogs- needs to get into a situation with maybe only one other dog so she can get more focus
(she gets along great with dogs)
Food motivated so working with treats as a positive reinforcement would be good but foster needs to be careful because
she grabs for treats (not very gentle) so watch the fingers! (Think her vision might be slightly impaired)
She does great at the resort and at my house, but she needs so much more than that to become an adoptable dog.
Had Tick Fever and went through three rounds of antibiotics but she was never able to completely shake it to a true negative-
